Applying eyelash extensions is a painless, relaxing procedure! We recommend using three lengths of Lashes in order to provide you with a natural look and feel. The smallest eyelashes should go on the interior lashes of the eye, the longest lengths towards the middle, and intermediate lengths towards exterior of eye.
Many factors are considered when deciding the amount of lashes to apply. The amount of natural eyelashes on the client, the
fullness preferred by the client, and the lengths and diameter used should all be taken into consideration. Each client will want
a different type of look. For the most basic look 40-45 eyelashes are needed on each eye. For the most popular look,
a full glamorous set consisting of 45-70 eyelashes per eye are needed.
Prices are considered on the amout of lashes applied.
Clients recline comfortably with their eyes closed. A Certified Lavish Lashes Professional applies extensions to each natural eyelash on a hair-by-hair basis using a safe, and most effective bonding agent. Depending on the amount of lashes needed, it generally takes between 60 to 120 minutes to apply one set of Lash Extensions.
Touch-ups can be done in as little as 30 to 45 minutes.
- What Are Eyelash Extensions?
Lavish Lashes is a revolutionary new product that lengthens and thickens eyelashes. Lashes are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are applied to each individual eyelash on a hair-by-hair basis for a natural, elegant and luscious look. Lavish Lashes are perfect for special occasions or for everyday wear.
- What do they look like and how do they feel?
With proper application, Lavish Lashes look and feel just like your own eyelashes!
- How long do Lavish LashesTM Last?
When applied properly, semi-permanent Lavish Lashes last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. Lavish Lashes glue is the elite formula with a unique waterproof bonding agent to last. Imitation products may not last as long because their bonding agent is not of the same quality.
- How often should I get touch-ups?
We recommend getting a touch up every two to four weeks. Your natural eyelashes fall off every 60-90-120 days due to the natural growth cycle and are naturally replaced with the growth of a new eyelash. A touch up is needed to replenish the fallen lashes. Touch ups generally take a short time and are relatively inexpensive.
- Can I apply mascara to Lavish Lashes?
One of the main advantages of Lavish Lashes is never needing mascara again. However, if you absolutely must have it, only water based mascara. You can also purchase our specially formulated Lavish Lashes mascara from our Certified Lash Professional. DO NOT USE OIL-BASED OR WATER-PROOF MASCARA. Waterproof mascara along with any type of oil based mascara can dissolve the bonding agent and cause extensions to fall off.
- Can I swim, shower, exercise, or visit a spa while wearing Extensions?
Yes. Our elite bonding agent allows you to shower, swim, exercise and spa worry-free while wearing lash extensions. You can enjoy these lashes with little need to adjust your lifestyle. Do not swim or spa for 2 days after the procedure to allow adequate bonding time, after that you can swim and spa worry free.
- Can I use Eyelash Curlers with Eyelash Extensions?
You CANNOT use MECHANICAL eyelash curlers as these curlers will damage the Lashes. Our Lashes are created with a beautiful curl, but for those of you who want an extreme curl we recommend using our specially made heated eyelash curler that is safe to use with your Lashes.
- How do I take care of my Eyelash Extensions?
Your new Lashes are long, thick and beautiful! To maintain this look and extend the life of your lashes, follow instructions on the "After Care" Tab.
- Can you describe the application process?
You will recline comfortably with your eyes closed while our Certified Lavish Lash Professional applies the lashes to each eyelash using a special bonding agent. - Is the product FDA approved? Is it safe?
Currently the FDA is not regulating eyelash extensions because the eyelash extensions are applied to the natural eyelash hairs and do not touch the skin. The application process is pain-free and relaxing. In fact, most clients fall asleep during the procedure. However, improper application by an unqualified technician can cause damage to the eyes and eyelids. We recommend only using a Certified Lavish Lashes Professional.
- Why do you use 3 lengths of eyelash extensions?
We recommend three lengths of Lashes in order to provide a natural look and feel. The smallest eyelashes should go on the interior lashes of the eye, the longest lengths towards the middle, and intermediate lengths towards exterior of eye.

- How do I prepare for the procedure?
Before you come to your appointment, do not curl your lashes or wear any mascara. Remove contact lenses and thoroughly clean your lashes with a mild, water-based cleanser. Eyelids and lashes must be completely clean and dry.
- Do not wash eyes, swim, or shower for 12 hours after lash application, preferably 24 hours to allow adequate time for bonding.
- Be gentle with your lashes.
- Avoid rubbing your eyes.
- Do not use an eyelash curler.
- Avoid oil-based makeup products, including mascara and eye-makeup remover. These will disintegrate the glue bond.
- Use only water-based facial cleansers.
- Use only water-based eye-makeup remover. Remember to be gentle with your lashes while removing eye-makeup.
- Do not visit saunas or steam rooms frequently. Routine exposure to heat may cause the bond to loosen.
- Apply Lavish Lashes' Longer Life' coating agent 2 to 3 times weekly to your new lashes to preserve the look and extend the life of your lashes. Brush on from the base up to the tips. The coating also gives the lashes a wonderful shine!
- We recommend getting a touch up every two to four weeks.
